Michelle Money & K.Borgella Team Up For PROM
This
prom season, T.T.G clients, American fashion designer K.Borgella
& Michelle Money are set to give a “Fantasy Prom Makeover” to four deserving high
school seniors from NYC’s Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, in
support of families who cannot afford the costs to cover a dress,
hair and makeup and to assist families with relative costs associated
with sending a young girl to their prom.
Kareen and Michelle are equally dedicated to empowering the lives of teenage girls all over the U.S. The Fantasy Prom Makeover will feature select pieces from K.Borgella Spring/Summer 2011-2012 runway collection. (Kborgella.com)
It was announced to Big Brothers Big Sisters on March 19, 2012 that their organization had been selected to participate in the Fantasy Prom Makeover. The four selected students are Maxine Batchler, 18, Michelle Marmol, 17, Stephanie Oliveras, 18, and Sydney White, 17. All the girls have been participating in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for 3-4 years and reside in the Bronx and Queens, NY. Each girl will receive a K.Borgella dress to wear to the prom, personal hair & makeup styling by Michelle, accessories by Nina Loren, and Luxemi to wear to their special Prom Night on June 6, 2012. The Finishing Bar by FOX & JANE will be providing manicure and pedicure services for the four young ladies, who will then head over to Midtown’s trendy Grace Hotel to continue the pampering in preparation for the night.
Both ladies are so excited to work be working together on such a special project. Kareen and Michelle had a pre-press day May 11, 2012 at Grace Hotel to discuss their upcoming venture together with In Touch Magazine and The Examiner.
