Eunice Kindred Solo Art Exhibition Scores Big!
Eunice Kindred's art, music, culture series held at Rogue Gallery captivates audiences with a unique performance piece
Within the depths of some of Chelsea's
most beautiful art galleries, Eunice Kindred showcased a unique body
of work at Rogue Space | Chelsea Gallery Thursday night from
6:30-9:00pm, that left the audience in complete awe.
Entitled Soundtracks: Freestyle
Part One, Eunice's culture series featured a new body of work
exploring a collaboration of painting and music, which was followed
by a special performance piece by Eunice Kindred herself.
Promptly starting at 6:30pm, guests
were greeted with passed hors d'oeuvres provided by La Table Exquise
which included baby cucumbers stuffed with herb cream cheese mousse,
shrimp and tobiko caviar prosciutto crostini with mozzarella di
buffula, pesto and black olives, mini avocado and leek mousse cups,
heirloom tomato, and mini chocolate mousse cakes.
As guests walked the room to preview
pieces from Eunice's collection, they were encouraged to listen to
select soundtracks which ultimately inspired each piece. Less than an
hour into the exhibition, the room was filled with an array of guests
which included, Vin Baker from the Milwaukee Bucks, ESPN
correspondent Lindsay McCormick, and super model Max
Tapper, to some of NYC's biggest socialites and tastemakers.
The true highlight from the evening was
Eunice's beautiful performance piece accompanied by violinist Jordan
Ware. The vibe within the room was serene as all eyes were fixed on
Eunice. The performance piece track was an original mix to Rihanna's
"Diamonds" lead by Jordan Ware. Eunice then spoke about her
journey after being displaced during Superstorm Sandy and her
determination to complete the collection of artwork. A special thank
you was provided to her many supporters and backers from Kickstarter.
The night continued with complimentary
wine, music, and gift bags provided by Canvas4Life, Scented, and Hint
water, in custom Eunice Kindred Soundtracks:Freestyle Part One
tote bags. Featured art pieces presented at the event range in price
from $1000-$5000 and have already received interest from several
potential buyers. Eunice is currently preparing for Part II of her
series, scheduled for late Summer.
