#TTGWEDS Summer Workout Guide

Ready or not, it’s time to say hello to summer!!

Even though it’s not the official start of summer, things are feeling pretty ‘summer like’ to me ever since Memorial Day. That means it’s time to soak in that sun, get outside and break a sweat here and there.

I know those sweet summer treats can be very tempting, and sometimes we just need to indulge. But after the indulging is done the guilt starts pouring in. But don’t worry, because TTG is here to help suggest some workouts that will make you say goodbye to that guilt.

Check out some of TTG’s fresh ideas to help you stay fit and healthy during the summer time! If you need a little more inspiration head over to Pinterest and Instagram.

Putting your shoes to the sand (maybe)...
I know they tend to make running on the beach look all glamour’s, just picture Bae Watch. But here at TTG we know that’s not the reality of hitting the beach with your running shoes on. And if you’re like me, running on the beach is just not my cup of tea. So, if you don’t want to give up the view of the beach, but want ditch the sand try opting for a run on the boardwalk. You’ll still get that cardio in while enjoying the views of the beach. A TTG tip, don’t forgot the sunscreen, because the sun will be shinning down on you!

Don't sweat this one...
This arm workout actually involves some water, so no need to sweat it! You can try some arm lifts and rotations in the pool. The resistance from the water makes the movement more difficult, which results in a better workout. A TTG tip, try those movements outside the water first, and after you are comfortable you can move it into the water.

Bring the shuffle to the sand...
The beach is your playground, and now apparently your gym as well! This new squat shuffle takes a new direction on the typical shuffle you might be used to. You’ll need sand for this one so go the beach or find a playground that has a sandbox. A TTG tip, make sure you keep the same depth and posture the entire time.
