A Successful Holiday Sneaker Drive!

Happy Tuesday TTG readers! As you may have seen on our social media, our 2018 Holiday Sneaker Drive took place yesterday evening, and to say it was a success is an understatement! The drive, which took place at global footwear retailer Sneakernstuff's NYC flagship store in the Meatpacking District, was hosted by none other than New York Knick's forward Lance Thomas in partnership with the store.

Thomas' teammates Damyean Dotson and Emmanuel Mudiay also made an appearance, much to the delight of fans! Guests were asked to bring along lightly-used or brand new sneakers as donations to the Madison Square Garden of Dreams partner - the New York City Department of Homeless Services. And we are delighted to say that over 400 pairs of sneakers (and counting!) were donated, which will now all be distributed to selected shelters in the city!

Those who donated to the drive were given the opportunity to meet Thomas, Dotson and Mudiay, with many getting their own sneakers and photos signed by the players. 

                                                                                                             

                                

After all the planning and organization, we're thrilled to call this event a success! And hopefully there'll be many more to come in the future.
