Happy Valentine's Day 💕

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! We're feeling the love in the TTG offices today, and while not ALL of us have romantic dinner plans for this evening, the rest of us will be celebrating it in our own way, whether it's drinks with our gal pals or watching The Notebook (hopefully not alone!)

In honor of today, we wanted to share with you some 'sweet' Valentine's Day facts that caught our eye. For example, did you know every year, more than 36 million heart shaped boxes of chocolates are sold across the US alone..!

- The first Valentine's Day dates back to the year 496
- The average man spends $130 on Valentine’s Day, while women spend about $70.
- Approximately 9 million people buy their pets a Valentine’s Day gift.
- February 14th is the second largest card giving day of the year, just after Christmas. This year, it’s expected that 1 billion cards will be exchanged around the world!
- According to Hallmark, women purchase 85 percent of all valentines.
- In the Middle Ages, young men and women drew names from a bowl to see who would be their Valentine. They would wear this name pinned onto their sleeves for one week for everyone to see and this is where the expression "to wear your heart on your sleeve" comes from!

Hopefully they put you in the Valentine spirit! Your Girl Gang are checking our for the evening, we'll be back tomorrow, so until then, eat lots of chocolates, even if you have to buy it for yourself! x
