The Taste of Tennis is a feast for the senses and this year on August 21,2014
our client DASHA wellness & spa was part of all the delicious action as a
sponsor.
Held at the W Hotel on 49th Street and Lexington Avenue, The Taste of Tennis
Gala is a yearly event celebrated just days before the US Opens. The event
mixes 25 of the best culinary experiences of the Big Apple with the top players
of the US Open. Restaurant chefs such as Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernov’s of
The Meatball Shop and Admir Alibasic of Ben & Jack’s Steakhouse were just a few
of the chefs there to serve their specialties to a guest list including New York
Rangers Goalie Henrik Lunkqvist, “Top Chef” Gail Simmons and “Real Housewife”
Aviva Drescher. Pro Tennis Players attending the event included brothers Bob
and Mike Bryan, Aga Radwanska, Gael Monfils, Joe-Wilfried Tsonga, among others.
The 14th edition of the event was co-hosted by Red Rooster Harlem owner Marcus
Samuelsson, Serena Williams as well as her big sister Venus.
The Tesla Group PR-Events was on deck to ensure DASHA's
hollistic approach to health and wellness had both a strong and entertaining presence. DASHA has a complete lounge area
with a custom designed tennis court table designed by Tesla
Group. Guest enjoy apple martini cocktails, a spa package
giveaway, and an array of rice crispy treats provided by NYC’s Treat House with the DASHA logo on top.
Over 500 guests attended this years Taste of Tennis Gala and ended the night with
complimentary gift bags including postcards with information about the DASHA experience as well as DASHA products: Chopsticks,
Hand Sanitizers and Mints. The 100 VIP
guests of the event also received a DASHA
Luxury gel ice-packs and a gift certificate with an opportunity to experience a DASHA
Specialty, the Graston Technique, which can break down scar tissue and help eliminate stress injuries. This technique is often used by pro athletes.
