Dorian Allen Radiated at his Running Back to You EP Release Party
Closing
out New York Fashion Week '14, Dorian Allen premiered his EP, Running
Back to You,
in the city's Flatiron district on Thursday night, leaving guests
anticipating what's to come from Dorian's upcoming musical ventures.

magazine,
also featured a special fashion show presentation by designer
Victoria Scandale showcasing her S/S 2015 collection.
As
guests made their way into 1315 Studios, they were greeted with
passed hors d' ouevres provided by Perfect Peach Events, LLC, which
included boneless chicken wings with teriyaki, BBQ or hot sauce to
dip in, fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil skewers, black bean and
corn salsa in a tortilla cup, filet mignon on a crustini with basil
aoili and crispy onions, vegetable lo mein in a mini Chinese
container, and cheesecake stuffed strawberries with chocolate
drizzle.
Guests
were able to exclusively preview and listen to Dorian's EP at special
music-listening stations. Everyone from some of NYC's music industry
professionals to magazine editors, and stylists were among the crowd.
The show promptly got started after Dorian's arrival at 8:00pm.
Dorian's
amazing performance was accompanied by a 5 piece band and 2 back-up
vocalists. The 4-song performance included, “No One Can Love You,”
“Bon Voyage,” and the first single of his
EP, “Running Back to You”. Throughout the night Dorian was styled
by celebrity stylist Jay Johnson. The vibe within the room was a very
contemporary
setting with hints of vintage décor such as a music box from the
1940's; chic black accents were also displayed against the all-white
loft.
Dorian
Allen is currently on tour singing back-up vocals for award-winning
British singer-song writer, Sam Smith.
