Singer/Songwriter Dorian Allen's Single “Running Back To You” Now Available on Itunes

New single release from Dorian Allen's EP Running Back To You

New York, NY-- Singer/Songwriter Dorian Allen released the first single, “Running Back To You,” off of his EP of the same name, which is now available for purchase through online music retailers Amazon, CD Baby, Google Play and iTunes, and available for streaming on Spotify.

Running Back To You was released in the US on October 2, 2014. Since its release, the busy singer/songwriter has been hard at work juggling performances, new music, and touring, continuing his commitment as a back-up vocalist for award-winning British singer-song writer, Sam Smith. The EP includes five tracks, including title track “Running Back To You,” “Bon Voyage,” No One Can Love You,” “The Cry: Mirror Mirror,” and “The Rescue: Let Me In”.

Dorian Allen is an Executive Producer of the EP, and co-writer of all songs on the album. The “Running Back To You” title track “drew inspiration from my parents’ 'journey back to love',” explains Dorian. The talented singer/songwriter fuses R&B, Pop, Rock, Folk, and Country in his songs of love, life, hurt, and growth; all things he experienced while creating this record.

Dorian Allen, originally from Houston, Texas, now resides in NYC and has been singing since the age of two and writing since the age of thirteen. Dorian was a semifinalist on P. Diddy’s MTV show, Making His Band (2009), and is most credited for singing back-up for iconic musicians such as Philip Bailey, Michael McDonald, Mavis Staples, Ben E. King, and Sam Smith. Dorian was also the winner of the ASCAP Collective Workshop award for his song, “Hook, Line, and Sinker,” in March 2014.
