Hamilton Heights To Give Alexander Wang A "Spirited" Welcome

specialty cocktails
Two of Hamilton Heights prominent neighborhood bars Hogshead Tavern and Oso will host a Fashion Night Out with specialty cocktails in honor of designer Alexander Wang's fashion show on February 11, 2017 which is being held at an undisclosed location on 146th Street and Broadway.
Hamilton Heights which is already rich in history has quickly grown into an even more diverse culture of people from all over world who enjoy the vast number of bars, restaurants and new residential developments that continue to populate the area. The Grange Bar & Eatery was one of the first to introduce microbrews, craft cocktails & area-sourced comfort fare served in a roomy, rustic-chic space on the corner of Amsterdam and 140th. The Grange is widely recognized for being one of the best bars in Uptown Manhattan. Soon to follow was Hogshead Tavern located on Hamilton Place and 142nd. Hogshead Tavern is Hamilton Heights official neighborhood craft beer bar. Hogshead Tavern has not only been credited for their design aesthetics, brewery events, but their unique and often hard to find selection of craft beer. Hogshead has been featured in a number of media outlets to include TimeOut NY, Village Voice, Food & Wine and Cool Hunting to name a few. The most recent addition to the neighborhood is Oso, an authentic taste of Mexico City street food. The Mexico City inspired restaurant has quickly gained momentum with rustic decoration details such as exposed bricks, concrete floors and a graffiti mural. Nestled on the top of the hill near the Hamilton Grange Memorial, Oso draws inspiration from the community’s landmark architecture, bold street style, and rich cultural history.

Hamilton Heights Fashion Night Out will include specialty cocktails by Hogshead Tavern (126 Hamilton Place between Amsterdam and 142nd street). Hogshead Tavern has created the The Wang Gang, a beet vodka infused cocktail that is refreshing and smooth. Oso's The Alexander is sure to delight with its mixture of mezcal, Aperol, lime, pineapple. Oso is located at 1618 Amsterdam Ave, corner of 141st.
In addition Hogshead Tavern locals will be able to watch the Alexander Wang fashion show at 8pm. Hogshead's Fashion Night Out will begin at 5pm and will end at the normal closing hour of each location.
