PepsiCo Rushes to Recycle to Super Bowl LII -

It's that time of year again, where fans, teams, and family head to a city in America, leaving behind a big mark! This year in Minneapolis, with the help of more than 65,000 fans, PepsiCo and the NFL are teaming up to drive up recycling so plastic bottles and cans aren't left behind after the big celebrations. And if you ask us, they make a pretty amazing team!

Rush2Recycle (R2R) will put fans in the game so to speak with the help of several immersive experiences - a green screen photo area will allow fans to drop themselves into fun football action shots that they can share and post on social media. Plus, fans can even channel all the Super Bowl energy and race against each other and the clock to see how many bottles and cans they can recycle! And of course they will have their own cheerleaders which includes the R2R team and a recycling robot!

In addition to the Rush2Recycle activation, PepsiCo Recycling is providing 240 recycling bins around the city of Minneapolis before and during the Super Bowl. Rush2Recycle will run from Saturday, January 27 - Saturday, February 3. So make sure if you're in the area to come check it out and join the movement to reduce waste and recycle!

PepsiCo Recycling was formed to support PepsiCo’s Performance with Purpose goal to increase recycling and recovery rates. Since 2010, PepsiCo Recycling has helped recycle over 200 million bottles and cans. PepsiCo Recycling promotes the simple act of recycling through programs like Recycle for Nature (in partnership with The Nature Conservancy) and supports communities through organizations such as the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities.
