Taste Of Tennis 2017 Highlights

Happy Friday everyone!! Yay, it's the weekend and the weather has been absolutely gorgeous out this week making it the perfect opportunity to go out and play some tennis (hint, hint). So with that being said, we decided to kick start the weekend a day early (Thurs), but we still managed to make it into work this morning!

Last night was the 18th annual Taste Of Tennis at the W New York on Lexington Ave. The Taste Of Tennis is the world's largest food & tennis experience where the world's best pro tennis players, Chefs, tennis lovers and everyone in between gathered together for a night full of wonderful food, drinks, and entertainment.

AYS, producers of the Taste Of Tennis are one of our favorite clients here at TTG. However, this year the 2017 Taste Of Tennis was all about "Citi's Taste Of Tennis" NY experience and TTG got to sit back and enjoy this year festivities!!


Highlights:

German tennis player Aleander Zverev Jr. (ranked #6), French tennis player Gaël Monfils (ranked #22), and Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios (ranked #18) all attended this year's event and enjoyed music by 5yrs returning MC and celebrity DJ,  DJ Mad Linx.

American tennis player Frances Tiafoe also attended the event and was not shy about heading center stage to where all the action was to enjoy some killer music and dance moves with world-renowned health and fitness expert, TV host, motivator, and creator of the best-selling fitness programs INSANITY, Mr. Insanity Shaun T. 

Czech Republican tennis player Andrea Hlawakova and Spanish tennis player (and heart throb) Feliciano Lopez served up some treats at the cooking stations at this year's Taste Of Tennis event. 

Citi certainly decided to serve up some new elements at this year's Taste Of Tennis experience which took place at The W Hotel. Some guest favorites included a virtual tennis game room where fans could enjoy and versus others at a match of tennis. Just one little thing, it was all virtual. Despite the room being fully decorated to mock an actual tennis court, fans got to experience the game through a player they created. 

Other new elements included a Citi photo booth where guests were able to capture the laughter, smiles, a vodka shot ice sculpture and excitement with friends and loved ones!

LG Signature was another new sponsor this year that not only had front end signage where the cooking demo was held with Chef Jonathan Waxman and Venus Williams, they also had a number of premier appliances on site that definitely made you want to run to the store and purchase.
