Cynthia Nixon Announces She Is Officially Running for Governor of New York



Cynthia Nixon, best known as Miranda Hobbes, will be crusading IRL, Miranda-style, in her campaign to be elected the governor of the state of New York. After months of rumors, the New York-born-and-bred Nixon officially announced her candidacy on Twitter on Monday, in a video that highlight how long she has spend in the city (and not just to film Sex and the City), and her focus on improving New York's huge income gap.
