Lifestyle Wednesday: Laureus Sport For Good

Your TTG girl gang has sure been running around Manhattan this week, but that's what happens when NYFW hits the city. And it's here and gone before you know it. This year, we had the privilege of "Sporting For Good" with Laurues and our client NYK's Lance Thomas. And let me tell you, it really was a good one! Check out the behind the scenes scoop below.

Day of Action

Lights, Camera, Action... but that's the least of it. It takes a whole team, the incredibly talented mastermind Nigel Barker and participating athletes to put together one amazing photo collection that's for sure. We can't give away too much info on the pictures, but let's just say these are really something special. The collection will be auctioned off during the Laureus Sport For Good Fashion Show, taking place tonight.

Shooting some hoops... after the photoshoot we headed over to the Bronx, in style of course, thanks to Laurues and Mercedes to shoot some hoops with the kids apart of Kids in the Game (KING), dedicated to developing New York City's youth by providing opportunities through sports and fitness to the schools and communities they serve. Their goal is to develop the next generation of leaders by developing healthy habits, and active lifestyle, and promoting personal growth through play and competition.

Our favorite New York Knick, Lance Thomas, Forward and Captain, along with U.S. Olympian x 1st Muslim female medalist Ibtihaj Muhammad, and Alex Shibutani and Maia Shibutani, also known as #ShibSibs, the brother-sister figure skating 2x Olympic medalist & 2x US Champion had the privilege of sharing their personal stories, inspiration, laughs and of course shooting some hoops with the kids during after-school hours! Now that's a really really cool day at school if you ask me.
