Good morning! Your TTG Girl Gang is officially back after the Christmas Holidays and we don't know about you, but we are feeling refreshed! We hope you enjoyed your festivities, your TTG Girl Gang's certainly did anyways! Whether it was grabbing a drink in a Holiday-themed
bar, or sitting around the dinner table sharing a meal with your family, it truly is a wonderful time of the year. However, the amount of waste generated over the Christmas season from present wrapping is not so wonderful. To put it into context, if every family in the US had wrapped just 3 presents in re-usable materials, it would have saved enough paper to cover 45,000 football fields!
Now, where does lipstick fit into this? You may have heard Lush Cosmetics recently launched 40 package-free lipsticks. Covered in a peelable wax, these vegan lipsticks are designed to fit into any empty lipstick bullets you might have lying around, how handy! They've even included a short tutorial as to how they work over on their Instagram
page. Lush have always been a leader in the world of eco-friendly cosmetics, being both vegetarian and against animal testing, and so it's no surprise they have released these revolutionary little guys.
This got us thinking about other ways we can reuse and recycle in our day-to-day lives, and so we've decided to make it our New Year's resolution to cut down on waste, and you should too! And with 2019 only a few days away, now is the time to start thinking of ways to do it.
